JULIAN CHOWN
Julian Chown has been working in the music studio business for many years as a keyboard player, songwriter, arranger, composer, mixing engineer, programmer, performer, and producer in London, Europe and the US.
He began in London Recording Studios during the 90s, and has since worked with Sony BMG, London Records, Kingsize Records, Dust 2 Dust, Black on Black Records, Creative Source, and Island's - Brown Punk. He also tours occasionally; playing keyboards and music directing when not producing or writing.
His residential recording studio on London's famous King's Road has been running since 2001. It was from here that he has produced acts such as Valerie M "Maxfield" (album - Island/Brown Punk Records), "Craig Walker" ("Good to Know" Sony BMG), "The Hightower Set"/"Appleseed"/"Blackwater Industries", and "Patrissia" (Fargain Records) who was in the US Charts recently.
Julian has also worked on many TV and Computer Game audio sound tracks which includes sound design and audio implementation on titles such as "This is Football 2002", "The Getaway" - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, "Train Simulator 2" - Kuju Entertainment, "Bionicle Hero's" - Eidos, "Stranded" - Glu Mobile Games, BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Inta Wara Yassi, BBH, Tiger Aspect, Snowdog Productions, Salt Film, Personification Films, Paul Jesper Productions, to name but a few...
His passion is working with artists of many genres whilst conjuring up the best sound out of them with his inspiring approach to music direction.
